| I've just been sucked in by Facebook...
I'll leave you with a couple of pictures of my handsome boys... Friend of mine got a new camera and took some amazing pictures. These two are my favorites.

| Took Bosco to an AKC trial this past weekend. I really think AKC is his venue. It's only 2 runs and less stressful for him. He ran like the wind. Saturday he got 1st and Q on his jumpers run. 16.72 seconds or 6.27 yards per second. That's nearly 20 feet per second. Per second. He's pretty darned fast. He missed his A-frame contact on his standard run. Sunday he did an extra jump on his jumpers run. Dog runs faster than I can call out commands. For some reason, he wouldn't do the tire jump. He wanted nothing to do with it. The rest of the run was very nice. He didn't bail on the teeter and nailed his weave entries. Go Bosco! | | |
| Made out like bandits from the gift card I got from the guys I work with... I took Boomer and we went to the store today to shop for his new bed. Boomer had a blast. They had a whole wall of beds in various piles. Boomer launched himself right into the middle of all the beds and wallowed through them until he came to this bed. He had the staff at the store in stitches with his antics. This dog is such a goober.
Without the gift certificate, I can guarantee you, Boomer would never have this bed. He is and will remain a "Costco Canine", lol.... Needless to say, he loves it. Boomer is a big fan of a comfy place to recline...
I also got Bosco a toy,
but Boomer has decided the toy is his and won't let Bosco have it. It's a "twisted rooster". The toy is about to drive me nuts since Boomer has figured out how to work it and makes it crow incessantly. I'm about to rip the crow right out of that rooster....
Bosco is just as happy with a nice quiet tennis ball. Me too.
| After 15 years, my job ended on Wednesday. To say I'm a bit freaked out is an understatement. Took the boys out hiking yesterday with a friend of mine. We had a great time. I think we did about 5 miles with our dogs. She has a lab and an aussie. The boys and girls all got along fine and ran and romped until they couldn't run or romp anymore. This is my favorite picture of all...
They were filthy when we got back to the car. Nothing better than tired, dirty, happy dogs.
| I've got to say Facebook is the biggest tunnel suck on the planet. The boys and I went to another trial in Rendon. Boomer finally got a Standard leg. The run was picture perfect. Not one paw wrong. I'm so sad it wasn't videod. Bosco had a great day as well. He didn't get one qualifying score all day, but more importantly, he didn't knock a single bar. Not one. He's never managed to do that. Woohoo Bosco! I was so excited. He did do a lot of extra obstacles instead. Little stinker. I've been a bit distracted lately by the news that my job is coming to an end. November 25th is my last day and I still haven't found another job. I'm more than a wee bit freaked out and scared. We had a guest priest at chuch this weekend and the readings were spot on as to what I'm experiencing. I just need to remember to let go and let God. He knows the plan and I pray it's revealed to me soon so I can enjoy some peace! Hope all is well with each of you... | | |
